🌅 Morning
Boat trip to Ras Mohammed National Park
Ras Mohammed National Park
One of the Red Sea's most celebrated marine reserves, with dramatic coral walls dropping into deep blue water and exceptional visibility for diving and snorkeling.
Book a two-tank dive if certified — the park's Shark and Yolanda Reef sites are consistently ranked among the Red Sea's best dive spots.
☀️ Afternoon
Snorkeling at Anemone City and lunch on board
Ras Mohammed National Park
A second snorkeling stop over shallower reef gardens, followed by a buffet lunch served on the dive boat as it returns toward Sharm.
Bring an underwater camera or rent a GoPro from the dive operator — the coral colour and fish variety here are exceptional.

Departing Sharm late evening the prior day, a guided trek up Mount Sinai (Jebel Musa) reaches the 2,285m summit before dawn, timed for one of the most famous sunrise views in the region.
Rent a thick blanket or jacket from local Bedouin vendors at the summit — even in spring, pre-dawn temperatures at altitude are cold.
☀️ Afternoon
St. Catherine's Monastery
St. Catherine's Monastery, Sinai
One of the world's oldest continuously inhabited Christian monasteries, built at the foot of Mount Sinai around a site traditionally associated with the Burning Bush.
The monastery has limited visiting hours and occasionally closes to visitors — confirm access with your tour operator before the trip.

💬 Things you won't find in a guidebook
- Book the Mount Sinai hike through a reputable operator — it departs late at night and involves a steep, rocky trail best done with an experienced local guide.
- Reef-safe sunscreen is increasingly required at dive and snorkel sites — pack it before arrival as selection is limited locally.
- Tipping (baksheesh) is deeply embedded in Egyptian service culture — small tips for guides, drivers, and hotel staff are expected throughout the trip.
- Ras Mohammed National Park charges a separate park entry fee, often included in dive/snorkel trip packages — confirm what's covered when booking.
- Bring a headlamp or flashlight for the Mount Sinai night hike — much of the trail is unlit and used in darkness before sunrise.
