Depart from downtown Cebu, Mactan Island or Mandaue City and embark on a once-in-a-lifetime whale shark watching trip. Your private guide will take you on a scenic journey of Cebu's East Coast to the town of Oslob. Capture a sight of this magnificent fish and snorkel alongside these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

Go on a short drive through the jungle to the stunning Tumalog Falls. Cool off in its turquoise waters and stand beneath its cascading falls. Next, board a boat to the untouched paradise of Sumilon Island. Explore the island's natural lagoon protected by mangroves and watch for local wildlife. Retire to the high-end resort of Bluewater Sumilon to make use of part of their amenities such as kayaking, infinity pool and shower rooms.

・Tumalog falls is optional. If you don't want to go, you will have around 5 hours to relax on Sumilon island. If you choose to go to the waterfalls, time on Sumilon island will be shortened by to 3 - 3.5 hours.



- FAQ -

Q: Do I get to swim with whale sharks?
A: Sure, additional charges for snorkeling is 500PHP including snorkeling gear, please inform tour guide and pay on-site. Same charge for those who use their own gear.

If you have open water diving license you can choose to dive with whale sharks at an additional 2500PHP per pax. The total duration is about an hour, and a dive master will be standing by.

Q: Can I rent waterproof cameras on-site?
A: Yes, underwater cameras can be rented at 550PHP per each, and an additional 100PHP tipping fee is recommended if you require staffs to take photos for you. Please bring your own USB for copying photos.

Q: Is it OK if I depart from Oslob hotel?
A: Sure, just inform us your preferred pick up point when booking.

Q: My flight arrives later than 3:00am, can I directly join this tour after landing?
A: Sure, as long as you can depart from airport no later than 5:00am. Please take into consideration that flights may delay, and the later you depart the lower possibility you can see whale sharks.

Q: Is it OK if I don't return to Cebu after the tour?
A: Sure, just let us know in advance. Driver will drop you off at the most convenient point.

Q: Can I bring my luggage with me?
A: Sure, you can store luggage in the car. However, please inform us if you are taking over 8 big luggage because an additional charge may incur.

Q: Is it possible to do Oslob whale shark 1-day tour departing from Bohol?
A: You can find private boat service from Oslob directly to Bohol; however, KKday highly doesn't recommend this because there is no public operation with this route, and it involves an uncomfortable 2 - 3-hr journey on small banca, which is less safe and may cancel without notice due to weather factors.

Q: Is it possible to stay longer on Sumilon Island?
A: Original departure from Sumilon is at 1:30pm. If you wish to remain longer, you may inform your driver that you with to take the 3:30pm boat and you will need to pay a 500PHP overtime surcharge. Please be aware that boats in the afternoon may be cancelled in the event of choppy ocean conditions. We will not be responsible for accommodation fees incurred if you wish to remain longer
